In my attempts to practice more gratitude in my life, I meditated on what I’m genuinely grateful for. I submit to you all, my letter of thanks to Kermit. Yes, that Kermit.
Dear Kermit,
I’ve been meaning to write my thanks for sometime now. You see, two of your memes have brought a great deal of joy to my life. First, there is the image of you lying on a bed, limp, with an oxygen mask on your face. I feel that way when i make my bed each morning. The image brings levity and humor to an otherwise mundane task. Second, and my personal favorite, the moving “gif” of you visibly losing your mind, shaking your head back and forth, mouth slack and ajar, arms flailing. It perfectly depicted how I felt when I stepped in a fire ant pile. The nats bit me between my little piggy tos and drove me bonkers, but again your comedic, green little self kept me in good spirits and gave me and my family a good laugh. So, Kermit, thank you.
Sincerely,
Jenny
